​Our first sessions will be about getting to know one another. I will spend time with you better understanding the issues that brought you to therapy and what you hope to achieve. In order to better understand who you are, some topics will include your childhood history, your family, any past mental health treatment, medical issues, and support systems. From here, we will discuss goals and how to achieve them. 
Individual Therapy
We will meet one on one in a welcoming and confidential environment. Together, you and I will determine the focus of our sessions. Sometimes I may give guidance or direct advice. Other times I may provide you with information that could help. We will collaborate on goals and may even set a timeline. You will be in charge and I will be there to support you.

Family Therapy
​Family Therapy may include all members of your family or just those able to participate. Our goals will depend on the overall needs of your family but may include improving communication and creating new skills to help your family through stressful times and improve family relationships.
